School Improvement

Improving outcomes for students requires improving the systems and schools that serve them. At Marzano Research, we believe research provides a critical foundation in understanding how to create effective and equitable systems and practices. Our services focus on what schools should do to improve student achievement and college and career readiness by combining research-based guidance with a continuous improvement process. We focus on evaluating efforts and using data to understand what works under which conditions for which students and educators. Marzano Research helps schools build on their strengths—their people, students, communities, and other assets. Our positive view of improvement assumes that the people involved have the ability and the will to learn what is necessary to improve student academic and social emotional outcomes.
