Pic Funny Bread Milk Water You Could Be Eating This
So I had my last wisdom tooth extraction on Friday evening. The first time was was probably the most traumatic experience of my life. My wisdom teeth (thank God I only have (had) lower ones) were growing horizontally, facing towards the front of my mouth and downwards right into the root of the next tooth. Now, from what I read online and what the doctors tell me, that ain't a normal thing! Aparently very few people have this. Well, according to Wikipedia, horizontal impaction is the least common and occurs in 3% of the human population. Now, you'd think that'd make me feel really special, but no! I hated it, and the last 3 years have been a nightmare to live with.
I took the first one out 2 years ago, and I knew I had to take the next one out too, but kept putting it off. Well, who wants to voluntarily go through that trauma again??? But I will be travelling overseas soon, so I knew I can't put it off any longer. It's like a ticking time bomb. If it goes off when I'm away from my 'mommy', what will I do? Who will take care of me and baby me like she's been doing for the last 2 days??? I love my mom!
The reason I am telling this story, is because I also read somewhere that the wisdom teeth extraction is the biggest ice-breaker in parties and such. If the guests are out of things to talk about, just say 'You know what, I am going to have my wisdom teeth removed next week… Apparently, everyone will start talking simultaneously, and recount their life's trauma. And I want to know yours… really do… I want to know if I'm the whiny sissy baby, or if everyone hates this as much as I do.
Here I am sitting like a chipmunk, well, one-cheeked chipmunk, eating baby foods all day and 'grunting' words through one side of my mouth.
Talking of baby foods, I must mention my favourite here. Bread and milk. It's been one of those things that I always eat when I'm not too hungry, but know I can't go to bed with an empty stomach, or when I'm just upset, or when I'm sick, or in this case, can't eat solid foods.
There's no 'best eaten' clause for this one, because hot or cold or lukewarm or soggy or the bread's still holding its shape, it always tastes good! Add a dash of vanilla, and baby you can't go wrong!
You will be needing:
– Milk
– Bread (edges off, maybe)
– Sugar
– dash of vanilla essence (optional)
There's no big instructions on doing this. Just this:
1. Drop whole slices of fresh bread into a bowl
2. Sprinkle generous amounts of sugar on the bread.
3. Pour hot/cold milk over the bread and sugar. You can also add a dash of vanilla essence in, this is particularly good if you're eating hot milk.
4. Grab a spoon, bury yourself inside a comfortable blanket and watch P.S. I Love You.
If you're not a big fan of soggy bread, here's another way to eat this:
1. Pour yourself a bowl of hot/cold milk. Add a dash of vanilla essence, this is particularly good if you've chosen hot milk.
2. Sprinkle generous amounts of granulated sugar. You don't have to make sure all of it dissolves. I like crunchy bits of sugar on the bread as I eat. It's interesting!
3. Break bits of bread and drop them into the milk, and scoop out immediately before it gets too soggy.
4. Enjoy!
And don't forget to tell me yours extraction stories!
